Abstract
This study empirically analyzes the determinants of job mobility and the effects of job mobility on wages by using data from the Youth Employment Information Service on the Youth Panel Survey (1-10th year: 2007-2016). According to this analysis, women, college graduates, temporary/daily workers, and small and medium- sized business workers were highly likely to be transferred. In addition, those who experienced mobility earned an average of 4.3% lower wages than those who did not. In the group of experienced workers, the workers who moved between industries received 2.6% lower wages than those who moved in industry and workers who moved between occupations received 1.9% lower wages than those who moved in occupation. In particular, the wage level of those who experienced involuntary mobility was 7.7% lower than those who experienced voluntary mobility.
