본 논문에서는 일본어 지시사가 인칭대명사를 어떻게 수식하는지 고찰했다. 지시사 a. ko계, b. so계, c. a계의 현장지시에 있어서는 각각 a. 화자에 가깝다, b. 청자에 가깝다, c. 화자와 청자에 멀다고 하는 위치 기준을 가지는 반면, 인칭 대명사 a. 1인칭, b. 2인칭, c. 3인칭은 각각 a. 화자, b. 청자, c. 제3자라고 하는 기준을 가진다. 또 지시사에는 문맥지시도 있기 때문에 인칭대명사와 지시사가 어떻게 조합이 되는지, 현장지시와 문맥지시로 나누고, 일반명사 ‘人(hito)’ ‘方 (hou/kata)’ ‘者(mono)’의 용례와 비교하면서 조사했다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. ① 현장지시의 ‘kono watashi’는 'kono'와 watashi의 기준이 일치하고, ‘kono’가주의를 끌려고 하는 의미를 가지기 때문에 강조의 효과를 가진다. 이것 이외의 인칭대명사를 수식하는 것은 거의 나타나지 않았다. ② 문맥지시는 ‘kono’가 주의를 끌려고 하는 의미를 가지는 것과 2인칭대명사의 직재(直裁)적인 특징 때문에, ‘kono’와 2인칭대명사를 포함하는 경우는 강조의 의미를 가진다. ‘kono’의 수식은 인물의 사정까지, ‘ano’의 수식은 과거의 추억까지 포함시켜서 지시한다. ③ a계가 수식하는 인칭대명사는 ‘ano koro no’를 제외하고는 나타나기 어렵 다. ④ ‘konna watashi’와 ‘sonna watashi’는 부정적인 의미로 사용되기 쉽다. ⑤ 문맥에 연속해서 사용할 때는 3인칭대명사가 나타나며, 단독으로 사용할 때는 ‘人(hito)’가 나타난다.
Abstract
In this study, the modification of the Japanese demonstratives on the personal pronouns was considered. With regard to the site directions, the demonstratives, a. ko, b. so, and c. a have the locational standard of a. close to the speaker, b. close to the listener and c. distant from the speaker and the listener. However, the personal pronouns, a. the first person, b. the second person and c. the third person, have the standard of a. the speaker, b. the listener, and c. the third person. In addition, the demonstratives have the context directions, therefore, the personal pronouns and the demonstratives were divided into the site directions and the context directions and compared with examples of the common nouns of ‘人(hito)’ ‘方(hou/kata)’ and ‘者 (mono)’ to investigate the combination. As a result, the following results were obtained. ① The site direction of ‘kono watashi’ coincides with the standards of 'kono' and watashi, and ‘kono’ has the meaning of attracting attention, therefore, it has the effect of emphasis. Others that modified the personal pronouns were almost not shown. ② For the context direction, because ‘kono’ has the meaning of attracting attention and due to the direct characteristics of a second person pronoun, in case of including ‘kono’ and a second person pronoun, it has the meaning of emphasis. The referentiality is strong except for that. The modification of ‘kono’ includes the circumstances of the character, and the modification of ‘ano’ includes the past memories to be instructed. ③ A personal pronoun modified by a is difficult to be expressed except for ‘ano koro no’. ④ ‘konna watashi’ and ‘sonna watashi’ can be frequently used as negative meanings. ⑤ When used continuously in the context, a third person noun is shown, and when used independently, ‘人(hito)’ is shown.
