한일양국 대학생 대화에 나타나는 스피치레벨의 운용 - 폴라이트니스(politeness)의 관점에서 -

本研究では、日韓両国の大学生の会話におけるスピーチレベルの運用をポライトスの観点から、さまざまな人間関係の要因と関連付けて分析することにより、日韓両国の実際のコミュニケーションでのスピーチレベルの機能と特徴を捉えようとした。 その結果、韓国人大学生の会話に比べ日本人大学生の会話で親疎差によるスピーチレベルの運用の違いがより明確に現れ、韓日両国で共通に男子大学生の会話に比べ女子大学生の会話において親疎差によるスピーチレベル運用の差がより明確に現れた。一方、中途終了型発話の場合、韓国人大学生の会話に比べ日本人大学生の会話において親疎差による待遇態度を非文末のスピーチレベルの積極的な運用を通して示していることが分かった。
Abstract
In this study, I tried to grasp the functions and characteristics of speech level in actual communication between Korea and Japan by analyzing the manipulation of the speech level in the conversation between university students in both countries. As a result, the difference in manipulation of the speech level according to the difference of intimacy was clearer in the conversation between Japanese students than in the conversation between Korean students. And, the difference in manipulation of the speech level according to the difference of intimacy was clearer in the conversation between female students than in the conversation between male students in both countries. On the other hand, in the case of incomplete utterance, it was found that the consideration for conversation partner according to the difference of intimacy is shown through the active manipulation of speech level in non-utterance end in Japanese conversation compared to Korean conversation.
