본 논문은 세계화․다문화 시대에 있어 윤리 교육의 방향과 도덕과 교과 교육의 과제를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 한국의 세계화 · 다문화 사회의 과정과 그 특징을 살펴보았다. 그리고 세계화․다문화에 따른 가치론적 문제점을 네 가지 범주로 나누어 논의해 보았다. 즉 보편성과 특수성의 논쟁, 민족 문화 정체성 정립 문제, 공동체적 훼손의 문제, 무한 경쟁사회와 시장형 인간의 문제 등을 논의해 보았다. 이를 바탕으로 윤리 교육이 지향해 갈 가치를 세 가지로 제시하였다. 즉 공생적 정체성과 주체성 정립, 다문화 사회와 사회 통합, 공동체적 윤리 문화와 시민 윤리적 문화의 융합이다. 마지막으로 윤리 교육의 방향을 도덕과 교과 교육을 중심으로 모색했다. 이를 위해 도덕과 교육과정의 내용 구성에 틀이 되고 있는 ‘생활영역 확대법’과 ‘가치관계 확대법’을 비교해 보았다. 그리고 가치공간과 덕목의 상호역동적 관계를 도출하고, 세계화 · 다문화 시대의 윤리적 좌표로서 상호 윤리를 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to research the value issue of the globalization․multicultural age and the direction of ethics education. For this purpose, first, the process of globalization․multicultural society of South Korea and its characteristics were investigated. Secondly, value issues of globalization․multicultural age debated into four categories. that is the issues of universality and particularity, the identity of national culture, the damage of community in multiculturalism, endless competive society and market-typed human. Thirdly, important value-oriented of ethics education is presented in three ways. It follows that: establishment of symbiotic identity and subjecthood, the integration of multicultural society, amalgation of ' ethical culture of community' and 'ethical culture of civic society'. Finally, focusing on moral subject-matter education, direction of ethics in school was explored. For this purpose, configuration of moral curriculum framework for ' the enlargement of life domain' and enlargement of value relation' were compared. Mutual dynamic relationship between the virtue and the space of value was derived. And mutual ethics is presented as moral code of globalization ‧ multicultural age.
