세계화 시대의 도덕 교육에서 정의윤리와 배려윤리의 통합적 접근법 연구

외관상 멀리 떨어진 지역에서 생기는 문제들, 이를 테면 빈곤화, 환경 파괴, 빈곤으로 인한 이주 및 난민, 분쟁과 같은 문제들은 지구적 수준의 부메랑 효과를 갖고 있다. 특히, 인류공동체의 문제가 세계적 상호 의존과 협력 속에서만 해결될 수 있을 정도로 세계화되고 있기 때문에 범세계적 문제해결의 중요성은 더욱 부각되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 상황에서 복잡하고 다양한 세계문제와 도덕적 이슈에 대한 직접적인 교육적 대응이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 도덕 교육의 영역에서는 세계 여러 나라가 공통으로 겪는 세계문제와 이슈를 사회정의의 도덕적인 관점에서 비판적으로 탐구할 것과, 우리와 문화적 배경이 다른 이웃을 이해하고 인정하며 타인의 눈과 마음으로 세계를 보고 다른 나라의 사람도 우리와 동일한 요구와 필요를 가지고 있음을 깨닫게 하는 학습이 요청되고 있다. 그런 이유에서 본 논문에서는 정의윤리와 배려윤리를 통합한 도덕 교육의 필요성을 제기하였고, 세계화시대 도덕 교육에서 두 윤리적 관점의 통합 방향과 이러한 통합적 관점에 기초한 구체적인 지도방안을 모색하고자 하였다.
Abstract
Increased globalization not only means that no community is isolated from the world's gaze, but also that virtually no communities remain unaffected by the global events and issues. These facts and effects of globalization raise questions that have become increasingly pressing to moral inquiry. In addition, they also require ethical caring that is feelings with and for the other that motivates us in natural caring. For the reason, in the area of moral education, I think that it is more profitable for research and practice to be based on the integrative approach to moral education in the context of globalization and multiculturalism, instead of trying to chop up moral education into justice and caring. In other words, it is so important to note that we need to probe quite deeply into the connection between the ethic of justice and the ethic of care. Thus, to accomplish a comprehensive and integrated approach to moral education in the age of globalization, I suggest moral education from the perspectives of both justice and care, and then, propose several methods for applying an integrative view of the ethic of justice and the ethic of care.
