초록
도덕과 교육의 배경 학문으로서 도덕심리학(moral psychology)은 도덕과 교육에서 일정 부분 역할을 담당하며 도덕과 목표를 실현하는 데 기여했다. 최근 인접 학문 분야의 연구 성과를 바탕으로 외연을 확장하며 발전하는 도덕심리학 분야의 연구는 도덕과 교육에 기여할 수 있는 바가 많다. 그러므로 본 논문은 도덕과 교육을 위한 도덕심리학의 새로운 역할을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해, 첫째, 도덕심리학의 학문적 특성과 도덕과 교육과의 관계를 분석한다. 둘째, 도덕과 교육에서 도덕심리학이 담당했던 전통적인 역할을 탐색한다. 마지막으로 도덕심리학의 새로운 역할을 제안한다. 도덕심리학은 교과 내용으로서 도덕과 교육을 풍부하게 만들 수 있으며, 도덕심리학의 연구방법론은 보다 객관적이고 체계적인 도덕과 평가를 위한 유의미한 대안을 마련할 수 있는 근거를 제시할 수 있다.
Abstract
Moral psychology as a scientific background of moral education has contributed to the goal of moral education. Recently, research in the field of moral psychology has expanded and developed based on the result of related studies, which can contribute to moral education. Therefore, this paper aims to explore the new roles of moral psychology in moral education. To this end, first, the relationship between the academic characteristics of moral psychology and moral education is analyzed. Second, the traditional role of moral psychology in moral education is explored. Finally, this paper proposes new roles of moral psychology. The result of moral psychology can enrich moral education and the methodology of moral psychology can provide a basis for providing meaningful alternatives for more objective and systematic moral evaluation.
