본 논문에서는 한국 사회에 적합한 상호문화교육법을 모색하고, 유럽과 한국 간 상호문화교육을 촉진하기 위해 기획된 #CulturalDiveinBGxKR 프로그램 개발 과정을 살펴본다. 상호문화교육은 다문화사회에서 서로 다른 문화, 민족, 언어 배경을 가진 사람들 간의 이해와 존중을 증진하는 교육적 접근이다. 이는 차별을 줄이고 문화적 다양성을 긍정적인 자산으로 여기는 사회 구축에 중요한 기여를 한다. 한국 학습자와 불가리아 학습자가 본 프로그램을 통해 문화교류를 하며 양국 학습자가 다양한 문화적 배경을 경험하고 이해하는 기회를 제공한다는 점에서 유의미하다.
Abstract
This paper focuses the development of intercultural education methods suitable for Korean society and examine the development process of the #CulturalDiveinBGxKR program, designed to facilitate intercultural education between Europe and Korea. Intercultural education represents an educational approach that enhances understanding and respect among people from different cultural, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds in a multicultural society. It significantly contributes to reducing discrimination and valuing cultural diversity as a positive asset in building a society. The significance of the program lies in providing Korean and Bulgarian learners with opportunities for cultural exchange, allowing learners from both countries to experience and understand diverse cultural backgrounds.
