Abstract

This article studies how war and peace were understood in the 2000 history of Christianity. Above all, he started with 'Peace in War' as the premise of the article, not 'War in Peace'. It is the fact that peace comes in the middle of war, not accidentally. We had to listen to the stories of figures who were evaluated in church history, looking at the fighting humans that began in the Garden of Eden. I found Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, Luther, Zwingli, Calvin, and the Puritan Ames. They were the ones who used the Bible as a reference point for their lives. A little differently, he also paid attention to the military Pastor system, which was a problem during the division of Germany in the 20th century. Above all, this article urges Christian, who has been called the 'Apostle of Peace', to stand in the right perception of reality as a pilgrim and seek peace to taste heaven.
