日本語と韓国語の動詞の対照研究 ー日本語教育の観点から「あける」「ひらく」と「열다(jɔ:lda)」「펴다(p’jɔda)」の意義素の抽出を目指してー

本稿は、日本語教育の一環として、韓国語母語話者が日本語の動詞の中で、他動詞「あける」と「ひらく」の 意味用法を学習し、使い分ける際の誤用をなくすために、対応する韓国語の他動詞「열다」と「펴다」との対照 分析を行い、意義素を抽出し、それぞれの動詞の目指す目的を明らかにすることを目的とするものである。 「対象物の条件」、「行為の焦点」、「抽象的働きをする場合」に焦点を当てて対照分析を行った結果、「あけ る」は、遮斷の状態にある内側と外側の一空間化を図ることを表す。「ひらく」は、逆戻りを条件とした多方 面への状況や形状の拡張を図ることを表す。「열다」は、逆戻りを条件とし、閉鎖状態からの開通を表す。「펴다」は、状況や形状の次元の拡大を表すことを意義素とすることが明らかになった。これらの意義素の働きに よって、「あける」と「ひらく」が具体的な動作を起こし、対象物を移動させて空間の一空間化を図ることを 表す行為の場合は、「열다」が対応する。しかし、「ひらく」が、密着している対象物、または畳まれている対 象物に働き掛けることを表す場合は、「펴다」が対応する。そして、「ひらく」が、人間活動の場を設けるとい う表現を表す場合は、「열다」が対応するが、「ひらく」が、生成、開拓を表す場合は、「열다」も「펴다」も対 応しないという分析結果を得た。特徴的な結果は、「펴다」は「ひらく」と違い、対象物の形状や行為の次元の 拡大を表すことに目的があるので、立体的な角運動をする対象物を必要とするという「ひらく」の本義とは異 なることが明確になったことである。
Abstract
This study compares the Japanese verbs “akeru” and “hiraku” with the Korean equivalents “jɔ:lda” and “p'jɔda” to extract sememes. “Akeru” aims at making the space of “inside” and “outside” separated state united. “Hiraku” aims to expand the object to multiple dimensions. However, the shape of the target must return to its original state. “Jɔ:lda” must also return to the original form. “P'jɔda" represents the expansion of the situation and shape. When “akeru” and “hiraku” (make to) represent the meaning of creating a one space, “jɔ:lda" corresponds. And, when the object of “hiraku” is attached or folded, “p’jɔda” corresponds to. When [hiraku] means making a place of activity for a person [jɔ: lda] corresponds. And [hiraku] does not correspond to [jɔ: lda] nor [p'jɔda] when it represents the meaning of creation and pioneering. "P'jɔda" is not conditional on stereoscopic action, but aims at expressing the expansion of the shape of the object and the expansion of the act.
