이 연구에서는 초등학교 6학년 국어 교과서의 문법 영역 단원을 교수-학습의 흐름에 따라 구성 체제 별로 분석해 보았다. 이런 논의가 앞으로의 문법 단원 개발에 하나의 아이디어로 작용되었으면 하는 바람이다. 이 연구에 이어서 초등학교 교과서의 학습 내용은 어떻게 구성되어 있는지에 대해서도 살펴볼 계획이다. 이런 논의들을 통해 ‘이상적’인 교과서 개발을 위한 토대가 마련될 것이라고 생각한다. 사실 이상적인 교과서를 개발한다는 것은 거의 불가능한 일이다. ‘이상적’이라는 표현은 현실의 세계가 아닌 완벽한 머릿속의 세계를 반영하는 것이기 때문이다. 다만, 교과서의 개발은 이상적인 모습으로 발전해 가도록 하는 과정이라고 본다. 현재의 교과서가 완벽하지는 않지만, 최소한 이상적인 교과서의 모습을 점차 반영하는 방향으로 개발되어야 한다는 것이다. 따라서 학교 교육의 중심 교재로서의 교과서에 대한 다양한 방식의 연구가 끊임없이 이어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the system of the grammar based unit in current Korean Language textbooks according to 2007 revision curriculum and presented some useful implications necessary for developing Korean Language textbooks. The investigator selected one unit that is related to grammar area from the textbooks of elementary. Firstly, the constructional system of an introductory part of the unit was explored. A variety of learning signals of being able to anticipate learning contents were furnished at the part. Secondly, the constructional system of main learning activities of the unit was analyzed. For the elementary textbooks, explicitly stated principle-learning section and principle-application section were separately investigated. Finally, the closing part of the unit was investigated. With the introductory part, this part is one including the large unit. This closing part well indicates several characteristics from grammar area in the national curriculum. Based on these analyses, the necessity of continuos discussions about an ideal type of a korean language textbook was presented.
