This paper analyzed the descriptive aspects of the grammar area of elementary Korean textbooks in relation to misconceptions. In Chapter 2, we discussed the importance of grammar descriptions in Korean textbooks. In Chapter 3, we analyzed the descriptive aspects by dividing them into words and vocabulary, sentence and grammar elements, discourse, and Korean language norms. Particularly, in chapter 3, since the learning of the correct grammar concept is neglected, it showed that it is difficult to understand the grammar correctly. As a result, we discussed that it is likely to form misconceptions about grammar categories in many cases. This discussion is meaningful in that it can be used to describe the curriculum of the grammar area and to make Korean language textbooks.
