경계선 지능 초등 학습자의 글자 쓰기 특징 분석 - 따라 쓰기를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 교사의 초등학교 경계선 지능 학습자 판별에 도움을 주기 위하여 수행되었다. 지능검사 없이 경계선 지능 학습자 판별을 위해 한국교육과정평가원에서는 ‘느린학습자 선별 체크리스트’를 제공하고 있는데, 이것은 정성적 기준으로 구성되어 대상에대한 장시간 관찰을 필요로 한다. 본 연구는 다수의 학습자를 지도하는 교사에게는 직관적이고 즉각적인 경계선 지능 학습자 파악 도구가 필요하다는 인식에서 출발하였다. 본 연구에는 경상도 소재 초등학교에 재학 중인 경계선 지능 학습자 20명이 참여하였다. 2학년 2명, 3학년 18명으로, 느린학습자 선별 체크리스트 결과 이들 중 경계선 지능위험군은 12명, 경계선 지능 탐색군은 8명이었다. 연구자는 따옴표, 마침표, 쉼표가 있는 적당한 길이의 한 문장을 이들에게 제공한 후 이 문장을 따라 쓰게 하였다. 비교를위하여 연구자는 대구광역시 달성군 소재 초등학교 3학년 일반 학생 25명의 따라 쓰기결과도 수집하였다. 연구 결과, 낱자의 모양에서 생략, 첨가, 역전, 대체 및 연장 현상은두드러지게 나타나지 않았으나 불완전한 폐쇄성 현상, 직각 변형 현상에서 눈에 띄는특징이 나타났다. 다음으로, 낱자 이상 글자의 배열, 띄어쓰기 간격에서 특징적인 면이보였는데 위아래를 오르락내리락하는 형태로 글자 배열이 나타났고, 일반 학생에 비해글자 간의 간격이 더 늘어나는 현상도 관찰되었다. 마지막으로, 덧쓰기 현상도 추가적으로 발견되었다.
Abstract
This study was designed to help teachers identify borderline intelligent functioning in elementary school. This study analyzed the handwriting of border intelligence functioning to help teachers intuitively and immediately identify them. 20 borderline intelligence functioning and 25 general learners participated in this study. The researcher designed a study to compare and analyze their handwriting. As a result of the study, remarkable characteristics were found in the phenomenon of incomplete obstruction and right angle deformation. Next, characteristic aspects appeared in the arrangement of characters more than one word and the spacing interval. They showed a form of letter writing arrangement that went up and down, and showed a phenomenon of writing longer sentences than general students. Finally, the overwriting was additionally discovered.
