1960년대 연애 서사와 여성 주체- 정연희 <석녀>를 중심으로 -

Abstract

In this study we try to show how to make woman subject through the 1960's woman's romantic love story. Romantic love story is not a emotional situation of above the times. That is the constructs of culture for modern capitalism. Romantic love is based on the individuality of modern times that regards a private choose and autonomy more important than traditional value. Search for self, the goal of freedom, the self-consciousness of internality are the basic grounds of that modern times and that is connected closely with such a social and economical change like the increase of educated woman and the appeareance of a nuclear family, division of formal/private life. So the romantic love is very closely linked with the formation of modern subject, especially woman subject. We analyse how to romantic love constructs the woman subject including a freedom, autonomy, private, internality, motherhood. The Jeong yon hee's novel <Soekneo> describing the conflicts of housewife-husband includes a moment of freedom through woman's autonomic choose, but traditional moral is together with that through the husband's whoring and sense of virtue. Woman confronts sexual discrimination with a mask that makes disguise good housewife following a demand of dominant social action. She defends the fear of deconstruct of a self wearing a mask and maintains her real insight and desire in the internality. Internality is the aesthetic sphere that make woman subject possible.
