Abstract

This thesis is about an aspect of nature acceptance in Park, Young-rae's poems. We can see his poet has deep affection and wonder toward nature and he does not look nature as object of subjection through his poems. This view of nature is revealed in his poems. His poems embody a delineator of passions through harmony between scenery of nature and poet's emotion. This original method of making imagism and an objective description technique produce poems simple, clear, moderate. His affection of nature shows harmony with a dream and an integrated life by giving emotional experience in these days when we are growing more and more interested in ecological concerns. The Aspect of Nature Acceptance in Park, Young-rae's poem is very suggestive when the poetry is taught. We know how wandering our students are in writing poems. We can help students write poems, giving nature as a clue. Students, therefore, can access easily to the materials, nature, they already knew. And also, usefulness of nature cause them to heal their soul and give liveliness.
