스페인어 접속법에 대한 화용적 접근과 유도자 규명

스페인어의 접속법의 용법은 학계에서도 설명하기 어려운 주제이자 외국인 학습자들이 습득하기 어려운 문법 범주 중 하나이다. 스페인어 접속법의 의미는 주로 직설법과 대조되는 의미자질로서 설명되어 왔다, 그러나 접속법의 용법이 너무나 다양한 구문에 걸쳐있어 예외적인 몇몇 구문들에게는 설득력 있는 설명이 부족했다. 접속법 의미에 대한 최근의 연구들은 접속법이 화자가 종속절에 언급한 명제에 대해 비확언적인 태도를 나타내고 있다고 설명한다. 본고에서는 설명이 어려웠던 접속법 관련 예외적인 구문들을 이러한 화용적인 접근에 기초하여 분석하고, 각 경우에 있어 접속법 사용을 이끄는 유도자가 무엇인지, 어휘적 수준, 문장(문법) 수준, 화용적 수준에서 규명하였다.
Abstract
The Spanish subjunctive is one of the most complicate topics to explain in academic field and one of the most difficult grammatical category to acquire for foreign students. The meaning of the Spanish subjunctive used to be explained in contrast with the indicative mood by using semantic features. But its uses are so extended that some exceptional constructions used to remain without plausible explanations. Current studies on this topic explain that the subjunctive mood is an expression of the speaker's non-assertive attitude about the proposition. Based on this pragmatic approach this article presents an analysis on exceptional constructions related to the Spanish subjunctive and specifies subjunctive mood inductors at lexical, grammatical and pragmatic level.
