Abstract
This study aimed to examine the learning experiences of college students who went through the virtual learning period during the COVID-19 pandemic and the implications of those experiences for their current learning. For the study, in-depth interviews were conducted with seven students from the College of Education at University A. Key findings indicate that university students' current learning experiences can be categorized as follows: "Increase of convenient, but disadvantageous online learning" "Frequent use of efficient but distracting electronic devices," "Various factors reducing concentration," "Often overuse of sick days," and "Reduced meaning of studying since entering university." In terms of the implications of the pandemic for current learning, the following categories were identified: "Memories of the pandemic as a time that left something to be desired in terms of learning", "Creating an environment that facilitates learning", "Deterioration of learning attitudes", and "Providing an opportunity for active learning". This study is significant for its attempt to explore the implications of the learning experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic on current learning experiences, nearly one year after the COVID-19 crisis "serious" level was downgraded.
