디지털 기술의 발전으로 방송과 통신이 융합된 다양한 서비스들이 도입되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 방송과 통신의 융합으로 등장하고 있는 서비스들의 특징과 향후 발전방향을 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 방송과 통신의 융합적서비스는 다양한 미디어의 특성을 결합하여 인간의 커뮤니케이션 능력을 확대하는 방향으로 발전하고 있다. 따라서향후 제공될 서비스도 인간의 상호작용적인 커뮤니케이션 능력을 제고하면서, 동시에 대면적인 커뮤니케이션 상황과유사한 실감형의 커뮤니케이션 환경을 제공하는 방향으로 발전할 것으로 보인다.
Abstract
The Digital technology has brought about a variety of services with the convergence of broadcasting and telecommunication. Thus, this paper made an attempt to examine the characteristics and the developmental aspects of various new services which has been indebted on the convergence of broadcasting and telecommunication. It was shown that the convergence service of broadcasting and telecommunication, combining with various media characteristics, makes movements in the direction of extending a human communication capability. As a result, the future convergence service is expected to provide an environment of lifelike communication which is very similar with the face-to-face communication, while simultaneously enhancing an interactive communication capability of human being.
