케이블 TV 방송 분야에서는 방송/통신을 융합한 형태의 서비스인 대화형 디지털방송이 적극 추진되고 있으며, 매체의 특성상 케이블 TV 망이 대화용 방송의 가장 적합한 망으로 거론되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 케이블TV망에 대해서알아보고 케이블 TV 망을 이용한 디지털 대화형 방송의 추진경위와 국내 표준인 오픈케이블에 대해서 살펴본다. 또한NGcN의 일환으로 추진되고 있는 케이블 TV 망 기반 T-Government의 구현방안에 대해서 제시한다.
Abstract
In the cable television networks, the interactive digital broadcasting which is convergence between the broadcasting and the telecommunication is promoted. And the cable television networks is concerned the best suitable networks for the interactive broadcasting because of medium characteristics. In this paper, the architecture of cable television networks, the feature of Opencable and the digital interactive broadcasting on cable television are investigated. Especially, we present the implementation method of T-Government which is driven as a part of NGcN.
