초록

본 연구는 TOPIK 말하기 시험에 대한 중국인 KFL 학습자의 인식 조사 및 느끼는 불안감의 유형과 정도를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 중국 소재 대학교에 재학 중인 중·고급 수준 한국어 전공 학습자를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과를 살펴보면 중국인 KFL 학습자들이 TOPIK 말하기 시험에 대한 인식이 부족하며 학교에서도 이에 대한 정보 전달이 미흡하다는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 중국인 KFL 학습자들이 TOPIK 말하기 시험에 대해 느끼는 불안감이 전반적으로 높은 것을 확인할 수 있다. 학습자 변인에 따른 불안 수준의 차이를 분석한 결과, 성별과 숙달도 변인은 TOPIK 말하기 시험 불안에 큰 영향을 미치지 않지만, 컴퓨터 말하기 시험 경험과 학습자들의 학년은 불안감에 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 이러한 조사 결과를 고려했을 때, 학교에서 종합적이고 객관적인 한국어 평가 체계를 기반으로 관련 교육과정을 마련하고 학습자들의 의사소통 능력을 키워야 할 뿐만 아니라 교사들을 조직하여 TOPIK 말하기 시험에 대한 세미나를 실시하고, 관련 교재 및 문제집도 개발해야 한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate Chinese KFL learners’ perceptions of TOPIK speaking test and to analyze the type and degree of anxiety they feel. In this study, a survey was conducted on middle and high-level Korean language major learners attending universities in China. Looking at the analysis results, it can be seen that Chinese KFL learners lack awareness of the TOPIK speaking test, and schools also lack information on it. In addition, it can be confirmed that the overall anxiety felt by Chinese KFL learners about the TOPIK speaking test is high. Analysis of differences in anxiety levels according to learner variables shows that gender and proficiency variables do not have a significant impact on TOPIK speaking test anxiety, but computer speaking test experience and learners’ grades have a significant impact on anxiety. Considering these findings, schools should not only prepare related curricula and develop learners’ communication skills based on a comprehensive and objective Korean language evaluation system, but also organize teachers to conduct seminars on TOPIK speaking tests, and develop related textbooks and workbooks.
