작문 교육에서 글쓰기 윤리 연구의 쟁점과 과제

초록

본 연구는 작문 교육에서의 글쓰기 윤리 연구 동향을 살핌으로써 향후 연구의 방향성 수립을 위한 제언을 하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 지금까지의 연구 성과를 개관하면서 연구 대상, 연구 내용 등을 중심으로 연구의 쟁점과 과제를 논하였다. 글쓰기 윤리에 대한 국내의 연구는 2010년을 기점으로 하여 뚜렷한 증가 추세를 보이는데 그 성과는 크게 학술지, 학위논문 이외에도 자료집(연구 과제 보고서) 유형의 세 축으로 구분된다. 특히 학술지 이외에도 학위논문에서 글쓰기 윤리를 본격적인 연구 주제로 다루기 시작했다는 점, 정부 기관의 지원으로 글쓰기 윤리 관련 교육 자료와 콘텐츠 등이 적극적으로 개발된다는 점에서 주목할 만하다. 또한 지금까지 글쓰기 윤리 연구가 학습자(초중고생, 대학생)뿐만 아니라 교수자, 연구자를 망라하여 그 대상이 폭넓어졌다는 점도 특징이다. 글쓰기 윤리 연구의 주요 쟁점은 크게 ‘윤리 인식’, ‘쓰기 행위’, ‘교육 내용 및 방법’, ‘제도 및 관리’의 네 가지가 손꼽힌다. 이 가운데 국내의 경우 ‘제도 및 관리’의 측면을 다룬 연구가 미흡한데 앞으로는 본격적으로 논의될 필요가 있다. 더 나아가 향후에는 한 가지 쟁점에만 초점을 두는 것이 아니라 ‘인식과 행위’, ‘행위와 제도’, ‘인식과 교육’ 등 둘 이상의 쟁점이 복합적으로 고려된 논의가 전개되어야 한다. 본 연구가 국내 작문 교육 상황에 맞는 글쓰기 윤리의 문제를 탐색하여 향후의 논의를 위한 기초 자료를 제공했기를 기대한다.

Abstract

This study has its objective in making proposals on the establishment of the direction of subsequent researches through reviewing the research trends on writing ethics in writing education. A general overview of the previous research outcomes as well as an examination into their research tendency concentrating on research object, content and more were conducted simultaneously to achieve this objective. Domestic research on writing ethics displays an apparent growing trend beginning in 2010 and its results are largely categorized into three sections of which are academic journals, dissertations and sourcebook(research report). It is significant that writing ethics have begun to be dealt with as a serious research topic in not only academic journals but also in dissertations and its related education materials, contents and more are actively being developed governmental organization’s support. Moreover, it is also notable that the spectrum of writing ethics research’s intended subject has broadened without distinction between both the learners(compulsory school and university students) and the instructors and researchers. The four major issues of writing ethics research considered are chiefly ‘ethics cognition’, ‘writing act’. ‘education content and method’, and ‘system and management’. Amongst these, there is insufficient number of domestic researches in regards to ‘system and management’ and therefore, should be discussed extensively in the future. Moreover, a composite analysis on two or more issues should be pursued instead of discussion centralizing on only one issue. This study’s provision of grounding information for future discussion through investigation into writing ethics problems suited for domestic writing educational situation is anticipated.
