서사 논증 글쓰기의 양상과 교육 방안 탐색

서사 논증은 설명적, 설득적 글쓰기는 물론 문예적 글쓰기를 포함하여 다양한 장르의 글쓰기에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 서사 논증 글쓰기 교육은 국어교육 학문 공동체나 국어 수업에서 크게 주목받고 있지 못하다. 이 연구에는 서사 논증의 성격과 양상을 살피고, 구체적인 서사 논증 글쓰기 교육 방안을 제안하였다. Ⅱ장에서는 서사 논증의 개념, 서사의 작동 방식, 서사 논증의 유형, 서사 논증 글쓰기의 특성으로 나누어 서사 논증의 성격을 이론적으로 규명하였다. Ⅲ장에서는 황현산 산문을 분석하여 서사를 사용한 논증적 글쓰기는 어떤 양상을 보이는지를 살펴보았다. 세 가지 양상으로 유형화하였는데, 서사 논증을 중요한 글쓰기 전략으로 사용하는 글쓰기에서도 이와 유사한 양상이 드러날 것으로 기대할 수 있다. Ⅳ장에서는 Ⅱ장과 Ⅲ장의 논의에 근거하여 서사 논증 글쓰기 교육 방안에 대해 논의하였다. 구체적으로 서사 논증 글쓰기 단계별 교육 내용은 무엇인지, 영역 간 연계 교육을 어떻게 할 것인지, 글쓰기 전, 중, 후 과정에서의 지도 방안은 무엇인지에 대해 논의하였다.
Abstract
Narrative arguments are employed across diverse genres, including expository, persuasive, and literary writing; however, they have received limited attention in Korean language education. This study explores the nature, significance, and aspects of narrative arguments and proposes practical methods for teaching them. Chapter II theorizes the concept, operation, and types of narrative arguments and examines their educational effects. Chapter III analyzes Hwang Hyun-san’s essays to identify three major patterns of narrative-based argument, which are expected to appear similarly in other writers’ works that employ narrative as a rhetorical strategy. Chapter IV presents the pedagogical implications, including stage-based instruction, cross-domain connections, and guidance throughout the prewriting, writing, and revision stages.
