Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of 12 weeks of forest walking exercise and circuit weight exercise on the health-related psychological emotions of women in their 60s. For this purpose, the subjects were divided into a forest walking exercise group(64.66 ± 3.33 years old, n=15) and a circuit weight exercise group (64.80 ± 2.27 years old, n=15) and performed forest walking exercise and circuit weight exercise for 12 weeks. As a result, 12 weeks of forest walking exercise was found to reduce anxiety, depression, and stress levels and improve self-efficacy and self-esteem more than circuit weight exercise. Therefore, the 12 weeks of forest walking exercise is judged to be more effective than circuit weight exercise on the health-related psychological emotions of women in their 60s, and the combination of forest exercise and the healing factors of the forest and environmental conditions improves the health-related psychological emotions of elderly women. It is suggested that this is an effective solution.
