This study aims to examine the characteristics of the 'grammatical expression' category of <Basic Korean Dictionary>. <Basic Korean Dictionary> is a multilingual dictionary for Korean learners. Made from a web dictionary, entries are selected and described for expression as well as understanding vocabulary. Therefore, it is characterized by the selection of a category of 'grammatical expression' that was not well covered in the existing Korean dictionary as the entry of the dictionary. 'Grammatical expression' does not fall into the part of speech, of school grammar, so its functions were not covered with in the existing Korean dictionaries, including [Korean Standard Dictionary]. However, there has already been active research in discourse function-oriented Korean language research and communication-oriented Korean language education. In this study, the characteristics of the 'grammatical expression' category are discussed in detail, based on microstructure, focusing on the entry and the definition.
