한중사전에서 대역어의 등가성에 대한 고찰

This paper examines translating Chinese words in Korean-Chinese Dictionaries, and on this basis, attempts to propose the equivalence principles. In order to be equivalent between head words and target words, this paper propose not only to consider the meaning of the words, but also consider the syntactic and pragmatic factors. According to the equivalence principles, ‘meaning equivalence’ can be completed by describing the meaning of a head word, ‘pragmatic equivalence’ can be completed by specifying its register, ‘syntactic equivalence’ can be completed by adding the word's usage. This paper proposes a way to cooperate practicality into the lexical and conceptual system of a bilingual dictionary, so that dictionary could offer users more complete and friendlier information of individual words.
