On the Materials for Korean Historical Linguistics Published by Anglican Church of Korea between 1890-1910

In this paper, the author described the characteristics of the materials for Korean Historical Linguistics Published by Anglican Church of Korea between 1890-1910. There are more than 30 books and periodicals, most of which are not known to the Korean historical linguistists. They can be devided into five categories. ① Bibles and Hymnbook ② Books for Rituals, ③ Catechism ④ Periodicals ⑤ ETC. The Majority of the books are translated version of Chinese into Korean, but the chinese original version are still to be confirmed. In this paper we centered the discussion introducing each book and could not examined the linguistic charateristics, because this paper is a part of the plan to build <Balanced Corpus of Pre-Modern Korean> and focused to establish the population of Korean the materials between 1890-1910. The linguistics study on these materials will be the next subject.
