경찰조직의 사회자본이 혁신행동에 미치는 영향: 직무만족의 매개효과를 중심으로

초록

본 연구에서는 치안서비스의 전달주체인 경찰공무원을 대상으로 경찰조직의 사회자본 요인과 직무만족, 그리고 혁신행동 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 경기도와 서울시 등 수도권 지역에서 근무하고 있는 경찰공무원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 이를 실증분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구의 주요 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경찰조직의 사회자본 요인과 경찰공무원의 직무만족 간 관계에 관한 가설검증 결과, 신뢰는 경찰공무원의 직무만족에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 신뢰가 직무만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이라는 <가설1>은 기각되었다. 하지만 규범과 네트워크의 경우 직무만족에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 규범과 네트워크가 직무만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이라는 <가설2>와 <가설3>은 채택되었다. 둘째, 경찰공무원의 직무만족과 혁신행동 간의 관계에 관한 가설검증 결과, 경찰공무원의 직무만족이 혁신행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이라는 <가설4>는 채택되었다. 이상의 가설검증 결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 이론적･실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationships among the social capital, job satisfaction and innovative action in the police organization. This study conducts a survey on the police officers working in the metropolitan area, including Seoul and Gyeonggi. I performs statistical analyses with the sample. The results are summarized as follows; (1) On the social capital factors, the trust does not significantly affect the job satisfaction. On the other hand, the norm and network have significant positive effects on the job satisfaction. (2) The job satisfaction has a significant positive impact on the innovative action. Based on the results, this study discusses theoretical and practical implications.
