연극활동을 통한 감정적 몰입 경험이 도덕적 정체성 형성에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구는 ‘연극활동을 통한 감정적 몰입 경험이 도덕적 정체성을 형성시킨다.’라는 가설을 증명한다. 본 고에서 ‘연극활동’을 통한 감정적 몰입 경험은 이야기의 맥락과 등장인물을 연극으로 표현 및 감상하며, ‘전통적 수업활동’은 이야기를 글과 그림, 동영상으로 전달받는다. 초등 6학년을 대상으로 실험집단 30명에게 ‘연극활동’을, 대조집단 31명에게 ‘전통적 수업활동’을 각각 처치하였다. 비교집단 사전·사후검사로 양적·질적 자료를 수집 및 분석하여 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들은 연극활동을 통해 높은 감정적 몰입 경험, 전통적 수업활동을 통해 낮은 감정적 몰입 경험을 한다. 둘째, 연극활동을 통한 감정적 몰입 경험은 전통적 수업활동에 비해 도덕적 정체성 형성에 효과적이다. 셋째, 도덕적 정체성의 내면화는 상징화에 영향을 미친다.

Abstract

This study proves the hypothesis' Emotional Immersion through Drama Activities forms Moral identity.' In this study, the emotional immersion through 'drama activity' means the story's context and characters are expressed and appreciated through drama. The 'conventional class activity' is delivered through writing, pictures, and videos. The 'drama activity' was done by an experimental group of 30 students, and the 'conventional class activity' was done by a control group of 31 students from grade 6 elementary school. The following results are from collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data from the pre-and post-testing on the comparison group. First, students experience high emotional immersion through drama activities and low emotional immersion from conventional class activities. Second, emotional immersion through drama activities is effective in forming moral identity compared to conventional activities. Third, the internalization of moral identity has a significant effect on symbolization.
