교사들의 윤리적 딜레마 해결력 신장을 위한 접근방안 탐색

본 연구는 학교 현장에서 교사들이 도덕적 딜레마에 직면할 경우 이의 해결을 위한 능력을 신장하는 데 이바지할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 데 주된 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학교 현장에서 도덕적 딜레마가 발생하는 원인을 검토하고 그것들을 유형별로 범주화하였다. 그리고 교사들이 이를 합리적으로 해결하는 데 도움이 될 수 있는 윤리적 판단의 준거와 절차를 제시하고, 그 적용 과정을 예시하였다. 교사들이 윤리적 딜레마를 해결하는 데 도덕적 지식만으로는 불충분하다. 윤리 이론은 특성상 추상적이고 보편적이어서 구체적인 상황에 직면할 경우 별로 도움이 되지 않는 경우가 많다. 교사들이 윤리적 사고 능력을 증진하기 위해서는 평소에 학교생활에서 직면하는 문제를 윤리적 관점에서 해석하고 나름의 일정한 절차에 따라 평가하며 결정을 내리는 경험을 자주 갖는 것이 도움이 된다.
Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to find ways to contribute to enhancing the ability of teachers to solve moral dilemmas in school settings. To this end, this essay examines the causes of moral dilemmas in school settings and categorizes the dilemmas by type. In addition, this thesis proposes standards and procedures for ethical judgment that can help teachers to rationally solve them, and then exemplifies the application process to find ways to increase teachers' ability to solve moral dilemmas. Moral knowledge alone is insufficient for teachers to solve ethical dilemmas. Ethical theories are abstract and universal in nature, and are often not very helpful when faced with concrete situations. Therefore, in order to enhance teachers’ ethical thinking ability, it is helpful for them to interpret the problems they usually face in school life from an ethical point of view, to evaluate them according to their own procedures, and to have experiences frequently in making decisions.
