기후변화 문제는 국제사회 패러다임의 중요한 측면일 뿐만 아니라 우리나라의 주요 국가 의제이므로 2022 개정 도덕과 교육과정에서 중핵을 이루어야 한다. 기후변화는 우리가 인간 이외의 존재와 어떻게 관계를 맺고 어떻게 행동해야 하는 지에 대한 윤리적 과제이기에 완전한 도덕적 폭풍(a perfect moral storm)으로 인식된다. 그러므로 초등 도덕교육에서는 생태 시민성 함양을 통해 기후변화 문제를 해결해 나갈 수 있도록 체계적으로 교육 내용을 구성할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도덕교육에서 기후변화 교육의 필요성과 실태를 제시하고 기후변화를 반영할 수 있는 교육목표 및 성취 기준, 내용 요소와 방법을 통해 초등 도덕교육 방안을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The issue of climate change is an important aspect of the international community paradigm. It's a major national agenda in Korea. It will be reflected as an ecological transformation education for the 2022 revised curriculum. Climate change is recognized as a perfect moral storm because it is an ethical task of how to relate and act with beings other than humans. Therefore, in elementary moral education, it is necessary to systematically organize the contents of education so that the problem of climate change can be solved by cultivating ecological citizenship. Therefore, this study presents the necessity and status of climate change education in moral education. Elementary moral education plans were proposed through educational goals, achievement standards, content elements and methods that can reflect climate change.
