(LPILI: Learners' Perception of Interaction between Learner and Instructor)’이라는 새로운 개념을 제안하여 구인으로서 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하여 학습자-교수자 상호작용감 요인 모형을 실증적으로 규명하였다는데 의의가 있다.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to identify the construct of learners' perceived interaction between learner and instructor and to explore empirically it's factor model with focusing on learners' psychological perception. The data from 972 students in 5 cyber universities were collected. The data were verified through exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and correlation analysis. As the results of verification of validity regarded with the construct, 5 factors model were extracted. The factors are ‘class guidance and facilitating learning’, ‘social intimacy’, ‘instructional communication(Q&A)’, ‘the presence of teacher’ and instructional support(support and management of learning materials). The study suggest that LPILI(Learners' Perception of Interaction between Learner and Instructor) can be utilized as a valid construct. In addition, the study can provide many implications on a variety of studies regarding interaction, instructional strategies and guidelines to instructional design in e-learning environment.
