초록

Abstract

To successfully implement the "new performance budgeting" and to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of resource allocation in the public sector , the program should be designed in accordance with some critical guidelines. This research identifies those guidelines and attempts to evaluate "After-School Activities Program of the Korean National Government." The result shows that "After-School Activities Program was neither structured "in a wider strategic framework," nor "in a way to ensure accountability." Moreover, the program was not designed in a way to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of resource allocation.
