산업체 맞춤형 인재를 교육하기 위해, 학계에서의 전면적인 교과목의 변화 및 교육방법의 변화가 시급하다. 따라서, 본 연구는 실제 C대학교에서 웰니스 관광 교과목을 운영하기 위해 문제중심학습(PBL) 교수법 적용 사례를 탐색하고자 한다. 특히, C대학교에서 관광 관련 분야의 전공자와 비전공자가 1학기 동안 PBL을 적용한 웰니스 관광 교과목을 운영한 결과, 학습자 수강 후, 관심도, 필요성 및 지식정도에서 교과목을 수강하기 전보다 높게 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해, 문제중심학습(PBL), 즉, 혁신적인 교수법의 실제 적용 사례를 공유함으로써, 다양한 교과목의 발전적인 수업 설계를 위한 중요한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있으리라 판단된다.
Abstract
In order to educate industry-tailored talents, it is urgent to change the entire curriculum and change the educational method in academia. Therefore, this study intends to explore the cases of application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) teaching method to run the Wellness Tourism course at C university. In particular, as a result of operating a Wellness Tourism course that applied PBL for the first semester by majors and non-majors in tourism-related fields at C university, the level of interest, necessity, and knowledge of learners after taking the course was higher than before taking the course. Through this study, it is judged that it can be used as an important basic data for the development of class design in various subjects by sharing practical application cases of Problem Based Learning (PBL), that is, innovative teaching methods.
