現代漢語補語淺析― 兼與韓語、英語比較 ―

보어는 학계의 주목을 받아왔다. 많은 연구에도 불구하고 해결되지 않은 문제점도 있다. 한어 보어의 독특성과 복잡성은 한어교육, 특히 대외한어교육에 도전을 가져다준다. 본문은 일반 언어학, 현대 중국어, 한국어 및 영어의 보어를 분석하고 비교한 결과, 현대 한어의 보어는 기타 언어와 현저한 구별이 있어 연구와 교육 중에 개념의 혼동을 야기한다는 것을 발견하였다. 보어는 학자들이 스스로 정의할 수 있지만 언어학과 언어 교육을 위해서는 용어가 명확해야 한다. 현행 한어 보어의 정의는 범람하므로 그 개념을 끊임없이 확대하기보다는 정리하고 엄격히 한정할 필요가 있다. 아마도 일반언어학의 관점과 결부하여 언어 유형의 특징에 근거하여 보어를 환원 시킬 수 있을 것이다. 혹은 보어 정의를 엄격하게 한정한다.
Abstract
Complements have been a focal point in academic discourse, with extensive research conducted; however, unresolved issues persist. The unique complexity of Chinese complements poses challenges in Chinese language instruction, particularly for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This paper conducts an analysis and comparison of complements in general linguistics, Modern Chinese, Korean, and English. It reveals significant disparities between modern Chinese complements and those in other languages, leading to conceptual confusion in research and pedagogy. While scholars have the freedom to define complements, terminologies should be precise for linguistic and pedagogical clarity. The current broad definition of Chinese complements necessitates refinement and strict delineation rather than continual expansion. Integration of general linguistic perspectives and consideration of language typology features may facilitate a clearer understanding of complements. Alternatively, a stricter definition of complements could be warranted.
