최근 민간조직에서는 일과 삶의 균형을 중시하고 있으며, 공직사회에서도 마찬가지로 일과 삶의 균형 요소를 중요시 하면서 다양한 연구가 수행되고 있다. 특히 경찰조직에서도 일과 삶의 균형 요소를 검증하고자 2000년대 이후부터 꾸준히 연구가 수행되고 있다. 하지만 여성 경찰공무원의 일과 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향요인을 분석한 연구는 다소 제한적이다. 이에 이 연구에서는 여성 경찰공무원의 일과 삶의 만족에 있어서 미치는 영향요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 특히 이 연구에서는 경찰관서에 따른 일과 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향요인을 분석하였다. 이 연구에서 경찰관서에 따른 일과 삶의 만족에 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것은 경찰관서는 소속감과 업무의 특성에 따른 차이로 인해 그 영향요인의 차이가 있을 것이라 판단을 하였다. 분석결과, 경찰청과 경찰서에서 근무하는 여성 경찰공무원은 근무만족과 승진공정의 요인이 동일하게 일과 삶의 만족에 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 하지만 지구대 및 파출소에서 근무하는 여성 경찰공무원은 근무만족과 여성차별의 요인이 일과 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향요인으로 확인되었다. 즉, 경찰관서에 따른 일과 삶에 미치는 요인이 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 경찰조직의 기초 정책자료의 방향을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Recently, private organizations have been emphasizing work-life balance, and various studies are being conducted in the public sector as well, emphasizing the importance of work-life balance. Research has been conducted consistently since the 2000s in police organizations to verify work-life balance factors. However, studies analyzing factors affecting the work and life satisfaction of female police officers are somewhat limited. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze factors affecting the work and life satisfaction of female police officers. In particular, this study analyzed the factors affecting work and life satisfaction according to the police station. In this study, it was judged that there would be differences in the factors affecting work and life satisfaction according to the police station due to differences in the sense of belonging and the characteristics of the work. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the factors of job satisfaction and promotion process equally affected the satisfaction with work and life for female police officers working at the National Police Agency and police stations. However, the factors of job satisfaction and gender discrimination were confirmed as factors affecting the satisfaction with work and life for female police officers working at district stations and police boxes. In other words, it was confirmed that the factors affecting work and life differed depending on the police station. Based on the results of this study, the direction of basic policy data for police organizations was suggested.
