초등 국어과 대화 추론 교육의 내용 연구

이 연구의 목적은 초등 국어과 대화 교육의 측면에서 ‘대화 추론’의 내용 구성 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이 연구의 배경에는 2002 개정 교육과정의 듣기·말하기 영역 5~6학년군 성취기준에서 추론적 듣기를 대화 추론으로 재설정하는 변화가 있다. 성취기준 적용의 관점에서 초등 국어과의 대화 추론 내용 구성을 위해, 우선 대화 추론을 다루는 주요한 이론들을 통해 대화 추론의 개념 요소들을 검토하였다. 의사소통의 추론모델 관점과 대화상의 추론 기제를 설명하는 격률 기반의 함축, 일반적인 함축 발화, 적합성 기반의 판단, 맥락화 단서와 담화전략 등을 논의하였다. 또한 대화 추론 관련 성취기준과 교과서 내용을 분석하였다. 기존의 추론적 듣기 내용의 한계나 대화 내용의 추론적 속성, 대화적 생략에 접근할 때 초래될 수 있는 대화체의 문제들을 밝힐 수 있었다. 이러한 논의들을 바탕으로 초등 대화 교육에서 구현될 수 있는 대화 추론의 내용 구성 방안을 제시하였다. 대화 추론의 학습 요소를 확정할 수 있도록 하는 국어교육적 개념화 및 대화체 추론 사례 구성의 요건들을 설정할 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the contents of 'conversational inference' for elementary Korean conversation education. From the perspective of applying the changed achievement standard presented in the 2022 revised curriculum, first, the conceptual elements of conversational inference were reviewed through major theories. The perspective of the inferential model, the conversational maxim implicature, general type of implicature utterance, relevence judgment, contextualization clues, and discourse strategies were discussed. In addition, achievement standards and Korean textbook contents were analyzed. In particular, the problems of conversation styles that can occur when approaching conversational omission were revealed. Based on these discussions, a plan for constructing conversational inference contents was presented. Conversational inference was reconceptualized, and requirements for setting content items corresponding to it and constructing a case of inference in conversation style were set.
