지역사회 조사시 환경의 객관적 수준에 대한 지역주민의 주관적 인식간 격차에 대한 연구: 부산광역시 3개 동주민센터를 중심으로

이 논문은 지역사회의 수준 또는 질에 대한 관심이 고조되어 가는 시점에서 다양한 사회조사가 활용할 수 있는 객관적 지표조사와 주관적 인식조사 결과간에 차이가 있을 것이라는 점에 착안하여 그 실태를 사례조사 및 비교를 통해 확인하고 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해서 지역사회의 다양한 환경조건을 10개 영역으로 구분하고, 각 영역을 대표하는 객관적 지표를 제시한 뒤, 각 영역에 대한 지역주민의 주관적 만족도를 설문조사를 통하여 파악하였다. 연구결과 자연환경이나 교육･행정･치안 서비스와 같이 공급에 대한 책임자가 객관적으로 존재하는 영역에서는 객관적 조건과 주관적 인식이 비교적 일치하였으나, 그 이외의 영역에서는 일치하지 않는 결과가 보고되었다. 연구 결과를 토대로 할 때 향후 사회조사 또는 사회지표 연구시 객관적 지표와 주관적 지표의 결과간에 차이가 발생하는 영역이 많이 있다는 점을 분명히 고려하여야 하며, 특히 객관적 지표와 주관적 지표를 함께 사용할 경우 이를 고려하여 지표를 선정하여야 한다.
Abstract
This paper tried to analyze the gap between the comparative level of objective index and citizen’s subjective index in a jurisdiction of local administration, and give some implications for the further study on social indicator. For this purpose this paper categorized 10 areas for environmental factors of a community center and proposed objective indexes for each areas, then surveyed local citizens who are living in the area of community center to see whether the results are same or different. Results told that natural environment which is given for citizen and education, public administration and police service which are supplied specific service providers were same between objective and subjective indexes, but others were different. Based on the results this paper proposed that objective and subjective indexes are properly mixed when social study or survey is performed and consider the gap the different results of two indexes.
