Abstract
This study was performed to investigate the effects of 4 weeks altitudes training(1896m) on aerobic and anaerobic capacities of high school soccer players(n=15). The training type was modified shuttle run test and skill training. Change of VO2max, anaerobic threshold, HR, blood variable, and wingate anaerobic test variables were comparised between pre and post altitude training. VO2max, anaerobic threshold, resting heart rate, maximal heart rate, recovery heart rate were increased after training, but not significantly different. Resting blood lactate acid was increased but not significantly after training. post exercise blood lactate acid was significantly different(p<.01). and recovery lactate acid was significantly different after training(p<.05). Wingate anaerobic test that Anaerobic capacity were not significantly different. Blood variables(RBC, Hb, Hct) were significantly different after training(p<.001). In conclusion, High school soccer players were improved on aerobic capacity and blood variables after altitude training.
