특수학교 전공과 장애학생의 교육실태 및 지원 요구 : 학부모와 교사와의 면담 결과를 중심으로

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve environment of transition education through researching individual experience and recognition of teachers and parents by focused group interview to recognize controversial point and improvement plan about special education variously. For achieve the goal of this study, 11 teachers and 9 parents with children in major of H intellectual disability special school located Kyongnam participated in focused group interview. The data from interview were analyzed by constant comparative methods about satisfactions, controversial points, improvement plans were deducted, based on them, the results of study may be summarized as follows:First, the satisfactions of parents and teachers about transition education for intellectual disability students were higher commonly on a material supports from government, educational facilities, learning materials than policies of government, services on handicapped person. Second, the parents and teachers commonly indicated controversial point of transition education for intellectual disability students about insufficiency of equity and rationality on execution of welfare budget. And the teachers indicated controversial point of transition education about parents' excessive demands and deficient understanding on major, weakening of standard to select and arrange students, confusion of purpose and identity to major foundation, excess of the total number per class, absence of special educational assistant, insufficiency of educational policies. Third, teachers mainly suggested improvement plan of transition education for intellectual disability students about realization of major curriculum, sheltered workshop with good support system, subdivision of major organization and variety of education program etc.
