한국어-카자흐어/러시아어 통번역 학습자의 요구 분석과 번역 입문 교재 개발을 위한 기초 연구

본 연구의 목적은 학부생을 위한 통번역 교육 프로그램을 제공하는 카자흐스탄에서의 두 개의 대학에서 통번역학과 학생과 교사의 요구를 분석하는 것이다. 요구분석을 실시하기 위해서 37명의 학생들과 4명의 교사들은 설문지와 인터뷰에 참여하도록 요청 받았다. 또한 본 연구는 학생들의번역능력 숙달도와 카자흐스탄에서의 번역 교육을 향상시키기 위한 그들의 제안을 분석한다. 본 연구는 학습자와 교수자의 요구분석 결과를 바탕으로 카자흐스탄에서 '번역 입문' 교재 개발 방향을 제시하고 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyse the needs of the students and teachers of the Translation and Interpretation Department in two universities in Kazakhstan (i.e., Kazakh National University and Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages), which offer Translation and Interpretation Programs for undergraduate students. For the needs analysis 37 students and 4 teachers were asked to participate in a questionnaire and an interview. The study also analysed the current level of translation competence of the students and their suggestions to improve translation education in Kazakhstan. Based on the findings of the needs analysis of the students and teachers, this study suggests directions for future materials development for 'Introduction to Translation' classes in Kazakhstan.
