한,중,일 제2언어 학습자의 자기주도적 학습전략 비교 고찰

본고에서 한·중·일 학습자를 대상으로 제2언어 습득을 위해 자기주도적으로 가장 선호하는 학습전략과 3국의 학습자들이 공통적으로 사용하는 학습전략을 살펴보고, 학습전략과 학업성적과의 상관성을 분석하고자 한다. 그 결과, 첫째, 중국 학습자의 경우 한국 학습자와 일본 학습자에 비해 학습전략 사용빈도가 매우 높았다. 둘째, 제2언어 습득을 위해 한국 학습자에 비해 중국 학습자와 일본 학습자가 사용하는 전략들은 한쪽으로 편중되어 있었다. 셋째, 한·중·일 학습자 모두 제2언어 습득을 위해 인지전략을 가장 많이 사용하고 있는데 반해, 보상전략은 3국 모두 전혀 사용하고 있지 않았다. 넷째, 학습자가 가장 선호하는 7가지 학습전략과 학업성적과의 상관성을 확인하였다.
Abstract
In this paper, we will examine the most self-directed learning strategies and learning strategies commonly used by learners from three countries to acquire second languages for learners in Korea, China, and Japan, and analyze the correlation between learning strategies and academic record. As a result, first, Chinese learners had a very high frequency of using learning strategies compared to Korean and Japanese learners. Second, the strategies used by Chinese and Japanese learners were biased to one side compared to Korean learners to acquire a second language. Third, all Korean, Chinese, and Japanese learners use cognitive strategies the most to acquire second languages, while all three countries do not use compensation strategies at all. Fourth, the correlation between the seven learning strategies most preferred by learners and academic record was confirmed.
