본 연구는 기존 강의평가의 과도한 문항 수로 인해 응답 신뢰도가 저하되고, 무성의 응답이 빈번히 발생하는 문제를 해결하 기 위해 단축형 강의평가를 설계하고, 타당성과 신뢰성을 실증적으로 검증하였다. 단축형 강의평가는 기존 강의평가 문항 중 핵심 항목을 선별하여 개발하였고, 분석 결과 기존 평가와 동일한 단일 요인 구조를 유지하면서 간결하고 체계적인 설계를 통 해 주요 평가요인을 효과적으로 반영하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 단축형 강의평가와 기존 강의평가 간 평균 점수를 비교한 결 과 유의미한 차이가 없었고, 학기별 및 이수 구분별 상관분석에서도 두 평가 간 높은 상관성이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 강의평가 문항의 간소화를 통해 응답자의 부담을 줄이는 동시에 평가도구의 타당성과 신뢰성을 유지할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다. 나 아가 단축형 강의평가는 향후 교육평가 시스템 개선과 강의 개선 정책 수립을 위한 중요한 근거로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study aimed to address the issues of reduced response reliability and frequent insincere responses caused by the excessive number of items in existing lecture evaluations by designing a shortened lecture evaluation and empirically validating its validity and reliability. The shortened lecture evaluation was developed by selecting core items from the existing lecture evaluation question naires. The analysis results indicated that the shortened lecture evaluation retained the same single-factor structure as the existing evaluation while effectively reflecting key evaluation factors through a concise and systematic design. Furthermore, a comparison of average scores between the shortened and existing evaluations showed no significant differences, and correlation analyses by semester and course classification revealed a high correlation between the two evaluations. This study demonstrates the potential of simplifying lecture evaluation items to reduce respondents’ burden while maintaining the validity and reliability of the evaluation tool. The findings also suggest that the shortened lecture evaluation can serve as a critical basis for improving educational evaluation systems and formulating lecture improvement policies in the future.
