최근 프로그래밍은 개발 도구로써 업무 자동화와 커리어 확장을 위한 핵심 역량으로 자리 잡았으나, 비전공자들에게는 전문 지식 및 코딩 숙련도 부족 등의 이유로 학습에 어려움을 겪는 경우가 많다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 비전공자 대 학생 40명을 대상으로 2주 단기 수업 과정을 설계하고 개인 포트폴리오 웹사이트를 제작하는 프로그래밍 수업을 운영했다. 분 석 결과, 다양한 AI 도구 활용이 학습의 어려움을 해결하는데 긍정적인 영향(상관관계 평균 0.866)을 끼친다는 것을 확인했다. 그러나 여전히 프로그래밍이 어렵다고 생각하는 학생들이 많았기 때문에, 사용자 인터페이스 개선 및 교사-학생 간 상호작용 부분에 개선이 요구되었다. 본 연구는 향후 비전공자 대상 AI 도구 활용 수업 프로그램 개발에 있어 기초 연구로 의의가 있다.
Abstract
Recently, the ability to program has become a fundamental skill for the automation of work processes and the expansion of career opportunities through the utilisation of development tools. However, non-major students often struggle to learn programming due to a lack of professional knowledge and coding expertise. This study aims to address this issue by designing a two-week short-term course for 40 non-major college students, focusing on the creation of a personal portfolio website. The course incorporated the use of various AI tools to support learning. Data analysis revealed a strong positive correlation (average 0.866) between the use of AI tools and the resolution of learning difficulties. Despite this, many students still perceived programming as challenging, suggesting the need for improvements in user interface design and teacher-student interaction. The findings of this study offer valuable insights into the development of AI-driven educational programs tailored to non-major students and contribute to the growing body of research on AI-based programming education.
