부모의 헬리콥터형 양육태도가 대학생 자녀의 친구관계, 공동체의식에 미치는 영향 연구 - 자아정체감의 매개효과를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 헬리콥터 부모가 대학생 자녀의 자아정체감, 친구관계, 공동체의식에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 주요 목적이 있다. 이러한 인과적 영향관계 규명을 통하여, 헬리콥터 부모가 대학생 자녀 개인의 내부 및 외부에 미치는 부정적 영향을 살펴보고자 한다. 특히, 매개변수로 설정된 자아정체감이 헬리콥터 부모와 친구관계, 공동체의식 간의 관계에서 유의한 매개효과를 보이고 있는지에 대해서도 살펴보고자 하였다. 설문조사는 서울지역에서 6개, 경기지역에서3개 대학교를 선정하여 해당 대학교의 대학생들을 대상으로 실시하였고, 총 회수된 484개의 설문지 가운데 464개의설문지가 최종 통계분석에 포함되었다. 독립변수, 매개변수, 종속변수 간의 인과적 관계를 규명하기 위하여 경로분석을 실시한 결과, 헬리콥터 부모는 자아정체감에 유의한 부정적 영향을 미치고, 자아정체감은 친구관계와 공동체의식에유의한 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 자아정체감은 헬리콥터 부모와 친구관계, 공동체의식 간의 관계에서 유의한 매개효과를 보였다. 이를 통해, 헬리콥터 부모가 대학생 자녀의 친구관계와 공동체의식에 미치는 부정적영향을 감소시킬 수 있는 주요변수로서 자아정체감을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 국내 선행연구에서 헬리콥터 부모에 대한 활발한 논의가 이루어지지 못한 상황에서 본 연구는 의의를 가진다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구결과는 앞으로 시도되어질 헬리콥터 관련 후속 연구에 탐색적 차원의 통찰력을 제시해줄 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.
Abstract
The main goal of this study is to examine the ego-identity, friendships, sense of community according to effect from Helicopter parents. These identified through the causal effect relationship, to examine the negative impact on internal and external to children among undergraduate student according to effect from Helicopter parents. In particular, In this study examine significant mediating effect of selected ego-identity variables. It is a research method, The survey was conducted to target sample selected three universities in Gyeonggi area and six universities in the Seoul area. Among a total of recovered 484 questionnaires, 464 questionnaires were included in the final statistical analysis. As a result of the path analysis to investigate the causal relationship between the variables, helicopter parents are having a significant negative impact on ego-identity, Ego-identity has a positive effect on the sense of community and friendship. In addition, the ego-identity showed significant mediating effect on the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. Through this, ego-identity have found that the key variable in order to reduce the negative effect of Helicopter parents. In Korea, helicopter parents did not made the impact study on ego-identity and social relationships. This study can be said to have seen considerable significance. The result of this study is that could give an insight into the exploratory dimension to the helicopter-related follow-up study to be tried in the future.
