<청문감류>의 ‘질병’ 관련 어휘 부류의 연구

본고에서는 『어제청문감』을 기반으로 하는 『어제증정청문감』, 그리고 『한청문감』에서 드러나는 질병 관련 어휘의 특징을 살피고자 하였다. 의학 관련 어휘들은 역사적으로 동양의 각국에서 전파 및 수용되며 각 나라 및 시기에 따라 체계화 및 재구성되어 왔다. 본고에서는 동양에서 질병과 관련된 어휘들이 어느 정도 공통된 요소가 있다는 점에서 이 어휘들을 어떠한 방식으로 이해하고, 체계화하였는가에 관심을 두었다. <청문감류>가 자국어 뜻풀이 사전인 동시에 어휘를 의미에 따라 분류하고 있는 어휘집이라는 점에서, <청문감류>에서 질병과 관련된 어휘들을 어떻게 분류 및 체계화하였는지 살피고자 하였다. 그리고 각 어휘 항목에서 보이는 특징적인 요소를 표제어와 뜻풀이에 활용된 어휘를 기반으로 확인하였다. 『어제청문감』과 『어제증정청문감』에서는 어휘를 체계화하는 기준으로서 부류명을 확인하고, 부류 안에서 질병과 관련된 어휘 전체를 포괄하는 어휘를 제시한 뒤, 나머지 어휘들을 부류에 따라서 질병, 증상, 관련 어휘의 순으로 체계화할 수 있었다. 한편, 신체 부위에 따라 일정한 방향성을 가지고 배열되는 점, 그리고 질병의 진행 순서에 따른 배열을 보이는 점도 알 수 있었다. 어휘 항목에 대해서는 표제어에 각 질병의 표면적인 특성이 주로 드러난다는 것, 그리고 뜻풀이에 있어서도 전문 지식 없이 이해할 수 있는 일상적인 표현을 통해 질병의 특성을 표현하고 있다는 점을 알 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to find out the characteristics of the vocabulary about disease in Manchu Dictionaries Qingwenjian. Medical vocabulary has historically been propagated and accepted in East Asian countries, and has been systematized and reconstructed according to each country and time. We were interested in how the vocabulary about disease was understood and organized, given that there were some common elements in the East Asia. In Qingwenjian, we tried to check the way of vocabulary about disease were classified and organized, and tried to fine out the characteristic elements of each vocabulary item based on the meaning and meaning of the title word. As for the view of classfying and organizing vocabularies, After presenting a comprehensive word, the rest of the vocabulary was arranged in order of disease, symptoms, and related vocabulary according to the body part, and other systemizations were made during the progression of the disease. As for vocabulary items, it was found that the title mainly reveals the surface characteristics of each disease, and that the characteristics of the disease are expressed through everyday expressions that can be understood without expertise.
