The purpose of this paper is to show that an approach using high frequency co-occurring nouns(HFCNs) for a target word to learn Noun Vocabulary in Korean language education is more effectively. This approach can help the learners of Korean as foreign languages clearly identify word meanings. Specifically, this paper propose the approach of using Choe & Lee(2014)'s corpus analysis tool. It can extract HFCNs list which consists of more than 20 co-occurring nouns. The approach using this list is, firstly, corresponded with the Spreading Activation Model of connectionist approach. Secondly, For using explaining words of dictionary and related synset of WordNet we cannot learn frequently used words used with target word. However, the approach using HFCNs can give us resolution for learning frequently used co-occurring words with a target word.
