본 연구는 국제산업연관표를 활용하여 2012년과 2022년 베트남과 한⋅ 중⋅일 3국 간 경제적 연관 관계를 분석하고, 특히 전기전자 산업을 중심으로 한 생산파급효과 및 생산지장효과의 변화를 고찰하였다. 연구 결과, 베트 남의 전기전자 산업생산이 한⋅중⋅일과 베트남간 경제적 상호의존성을 강화시켰는데, 그 과정에서 특히 베트남의 중국과 한국에 대한 의존도가 더욱 심화되었다. 반면, 한⋅중⋅일 전기전자 산업생산이 베트남 산업생산에 미치는 영향은 절대적 규모는 증가했으나, 베트남 전 산업에 미치는 상대적 영향력은 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 한⋅중⋅일 전기전자 산업의 생산차 질이 베트남 산업생산에 미치게 될 지장효과는 모두 확대되었는데, 특히 생산지장효과 측면에서 중국의 전기전자 산업의 영향력 확대 폭이 상대적으로 더 컸다. 또한 베트남 전기전자 산업의 생산차질이 한⋅중⋅일 산업생산에 미치는 효과와 비교할 때, 베트남의 한⋅중⋅일 중간재 수요지로서의 역할은 커진 반면, 공급자로서의 역할은 상대적으로 아직까지는 제한적인 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the economic interrelationships between Vietnam and three countries (Korea, China, and Japan) using the International Input-Output Table for the years 2012 and 2022. The focus is on changes in the production spillover effects and supply shortage effects in the electrical and electronics industry. The results show that Vietnam's electrical and electronics industry production has strengthened economic interdependence on Korea, China, and Japan, with a significant increase in reliance on China and Korea. Meanwhile, although the absolute impact of these countries’ electrical and electronics industry production on Vietnam's industrial production has increased, their relative influence on Vietnam's overall industrial production has declined. Additionally, supply shortage in the electrical and electronics industries of these three countries have had a significantly impacted on Vietnam's industrial production, with Korea's influence expanding notably. These findings suggest that Vietnam's role as a consumer of intermediate goods from Korea, China, and Japan has grown, while its role as a supplier remains relatively limited.
