대학생의 도덕 양심 확신과 도덕 판단의 관계

초록

도덕 양심은 도덕교육과 인성교육에서 중요한 이슈이다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 도덕 양심 확신과 도덕 판단의 관계를 탐색하는 것이다. 연구대상은 대학생 399명으로 남학생 133명, 여학생 266명이 참여하였다. 연구결과를 보면, 도덕 양심 확신-확신 집단(부분 확신 집단 포함)이 도덕 양심 갈등-갈등 집단보다 도덕 판단 점수 평균치에서 높은 것으로 나타났으나, 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 보이지 않았다. 도덕 판단 하위 요소에서는 권위와 순수성에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 성별차이에서도 여학생이 남학생보다 도덕 판단 점수 평균치에서 높은 점수를 보였으나, 통계적으로 유의미하지는 않았다. 그러나 도덕 판단 하위요소에서는 해로움, 권위, 순수성에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 도덕 양심 확신 준거와 성별 상호작용 효과에서도 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이러한 연구결과는 비록 전반적으로 유의미한 결과는 아니지만, 평균치에서 차이를 보이고 있고, 몇몇 하위 요소에서 유의미한 결과를 보였다는 점에서 . 또한 도덕 교육에서 도덕 정서와 도덕 인지의 통합적인 관점에서도덕 양심 교육 방안을 모색하는 데 유용한 자료가 될 것이다.

Abstract

Moral conscience is a important issue in moral education and character education. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between moral conscience conviction and moral judgment. The subjects of this study was 399 students at university(male 133, female 266). The result showed that the moral conscience conviction influenced moral judgment. Moral conscience conviction groups(including unsteadily conviction groups) was the higher mean scores of moral judgment than steadily conflict group(conflict-conflict group) in moral conscience conviction, but it was not significantly difference, statistically. However, Steadily conviction group in moral conscience was significantly difference in the mean scores of two factors(Authority, Purity) of moral judgment. Gender difference showed that female group was the higher mean scores of moral judgment than male group, but it was not significantly difference(Harm, Authority, Purity was statistically significant difference). Interaction effect of moral conscience conviction and gender was not significantly difference, statistically. This result suggest that moral conscience conviction can be used an evaluator of moral judgment, and we need to develop moral conscience education in the integrative perspectives of emotional and cognitive moral education, although, overall mean score of moral judgment was not significantly difference.
