초록
The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that hotel management students consider when seeking employment after the COVID-19 pandemic, and to compare them with the factors they considered before the pandemic. This study aims to determine the preferred attributes and factors of hotel job seekers and provide guidelines and implications for hotels to secure high-quality human resources. Through a review of previous research and preliminary interviews, the 21 most frequent items were selected and their importance was derived. As a result, the opportunity for promotion and growth appeared to be the highest priority which differs from the previous finding that permanent employment and job stability were the most important factors before the COVID-19 pandemic. Factor analysis revealed three factors: 'working conditions', 'hotel characteristics', and 'external image', with hotel characteristics being the most important factor.
