불안(신경증)에 관한 치유상담적 고찰 -정신의학 및 정신분석적 관점-

오늘날 한국인 가운데 강박증과 같은 불안으로 고통을 호소하는 이들이 많다. 거기에는 그리스도인도 예외는 아니다. 일반적으로, 인간의 정신적 삶속에서 불안장애(anxiety disorders)는 공황장애, 공황장애의 과거력이 없는 광장공포증, 특정 공포증, 사회공포증, 강박장애, 외상 후 스트레스 장애, 급성 스트레스 장애, 범불안장애, 일반적인 의학적 상태로 인한 불안장애 그리고 물질로 유발된 불안장애 등과 같이 다양한 형태로 나타난다. 본 논문은 불안한 자들에 대한 기독교적 돌봄으로서, 제2장에서는 불안에 대한 정신의학적 및 정신분석적 임상의 함의를 살펴볼 것이다. 이어지는 제3장에서는 불안에 대한 성서적ㆍ신학적 이해를 살펴볼 것이다. 그 후에 제4장에서는 불안한 자들을 위한 기독교 치유상담적 접근과 실제를 살펴 볼 것이다. 불안에 대한 정신의학·정신분석적 통찰과 성서·신학적 이해는 불안으로 고통을 호소하는 그리스도인들을 위한 기독교 치유상담의 이론적 및 임상적 함의를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
In Korea, there has recently been an increase in the number of people suffering from obsessions such as, in particular, anxiety neurosis. And there is no exception for Christians in this matter. Anxiety disorders usually reveal in human mental life in the forms of panic disorder, agoraphobia with history of panic disorder, specific phobia, social phobia obsessive-compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, acute stress disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, anxiety disorder due to a general medical condition, and substance-induced anxiety disorder. In this paper, the author scrutinizes anxiety neurosis from psychiatric and psychoanalytic perspectives, and theologically reflects on these perspectives to suggest its possible applications in Christian healing counseling for the care of souls. In the first section, the author explores clinical implications of psychiatry and psychoanalysis regarding anxiety neurosis. Then the author in the second section analyzes biblical and theological understandings of anxiety. In the final section, the author considers the approach of Christian healing counseling and its reality for those who are suffering from anxiety neurosis. In overall, psychoanalytical discernment and biblical/theological understandings of anxiety may provide theories of Christian pastoral counseling and their implications in order to help Christians who are struggling with anxiety these days.
