초록

이 연구는 범불안장애를 완화, 감소 및 극복을 위해 기독교상담적인 입장에서 ‘상반행동강화’의 적용을 모색한 것이다. 불안은 현대인들이 겪는 가장 심각한 심리정서적 문제이다. 불안상태가 질병화된 것이 범불안장애인데 이는 기본적으로 불안의 정의와 개념을 기초로 하여, 그것이 (1) 일상화되고, (2) 과도해지고, (3) 미래적 또는 재앙화적이고, (4) 통제가 안 되고, (5) 신체화 증상의 발현상태라고 할 수 있다. 이처럼 범불안장애를 앓고 있는 사람들을 위해 기독교상담은 어떤 도움을 줄 수 있는가에 대해서 이 연구는 상반행동원리의 응용 가능성을 모색해 보았다. 상반행동원리는 행동주의심리학 또는 인지심리학에서 행동수정 기법의 하나로 다루어지는 내용이지만 기독교상담에서 응용 및 적용 가능성 있으며, 불안증상을 완화, 감소 및 극복하는데 효과적인 방법이 될 수 있다는 것을 제시했다. 상반행동원리를 기독교상담적으로 응용 및 적용함에 있어서 성경의 원리를 모색해 볼 때 성경의 지지를 얻을 수 있는 기법이라 할 수 있을 것이다. 이 연구에서는 범불안장애의 이해(범불안장애의 정의와 개념, 범불안장애의 원인 분석, 범불안장애의 폐해), 범불안장애극복을 위한 행동주의 접근방법(상반행동강화 방법, 상반행동강화로서 이완 및 심상), 상반행동강화를 통한 범불안장애 극복방안 및 기독교상담적 적용 가능성(상반행동강화의 성경적 기초, 기독교상담적 상반행동강화)을 다루었다.

Abstract

This is to clarify the incompatible behavior reinforcement for overcoming generalized anxiety disorder in Christian counseling. This study sought to apply 'incompatible reinforcement in Christian counseling for palliative, reducing and coping with generalized anxiety disorder. Anxiety is the most serious psychological and emotional problem of modern people. Disease state of anxiety is generalized anxiety disorder. Generalized anxiety disorder is basically based on the definition and concept of anxiety. Additionally, characteristic of generalized anxiety disorder is the (1) generalized, (2) excessive, (3) futuristic or catastrophical, (4) uncontrolled, and (5) manifestation of somatization symptoms. This study explores the application of the principle of incompatible behavior reinforcement to Christian counseling for those suffering from generalized anxiety disorder. The principle of incompatible behavior reinforcement is one of behavior modification techniques in behavioral psychology or cognitive psychology. There is, however, potential for application in Christian counseling. It can be an effective way to alleviate, reduce and overcome anxiety symptoms in Christian counseling. The principle of incompatible behavior reinforcement is a technique to be supported of the Bible. This research dealt with general understanding of generalized anxiety disorder(definitions and concepts, cause analysis, and damage of anxiety), behavioral approach to cope with generalized anxiety disorder(method of incompatible behavior reinforcement, relaxation and imagery as reinforcement of incompatible behavior reinforcement), overcoming anxiety disorders through incompatible behavior reinforcement, and the application possibility of Christian counseling(biblical basis of incompatible behavior reinforcement)
